What is it about WA that makes everything in the realm of food worse? I loved BWW the first time I tried it in MD on a business trip. I loved it all the times I ate there in other states while I was on the road. I was super excited when I found out they were opening in Western WA finally and then it was a pretty short ride to asking, "why doesn't this taste as good as it does everywhere else I eat it?!"

We've been eating at this location since they opened and I was pretty much done with it a couple of years ago until my wife discovered the salt and vinegar flavor and now wants to eat there all the time. We've experienced very bad service several times including a visit where my mother who is now wheelchair bound but was having to use a walker at the time was told there was no place for her to sit while we waited to be seated by a manager. We've hit the full range of issues with the quality of the food. overcooked, under cooked, too much sauce/seasoning, too little sauce/seasoning. Then they scrapped their Tuesday wing deal and I was done completely.

It really appears to be a WA problem though because I'm now living in Las Vegas and the BWW by my house is great. They've also brought back the Tuesday deal. which I assume is chain-wide but the bottom line is that I'm often there on Tuesdays now and the wings are prepared properly far more consistently here.

By all means, go in and get your sauced wings. They're delicious and you get to choose from a variety of rubs and sauces. That's why you go to a wing joint, right? JUST DON'T ORDER ONLINE. I'm a pretty seasoned eater, a very tech-savvy, seasoned online orderer, but something seriously went wrong and I ended up with $75 worth of naked wings. Lemme 'splain.
Ordering for my kid's birthday - he wanted very specific sauces and loves BWW, was asking for a month for this. Choose the Large wings (18) because you get 4 sauce choices. Carefully cultivated 3 orders with a diligent mix of sweet and spicy - I even re-did two of the orders to make sure the sweet was separate from the spicy. It's pretty simple, just click on the 4 you want. Sauce on the side is offered as a choice, sure, click that, looks like you get 2, great. There was even a way to customize the carrot/celery mix. Awesome. No celery. Double-check the order, paying close attention to the mix of 4 sauces with each large order of wings. Hit pay, and marveled at 2019 where you can order dinner for 7 middle school boys online while waiting for them to get out of the pool.
Husband comes back with the order and says "You're only allowed 2 extra sauces but I convinced them to give me some more". Great. Open the containers that seem awfully small for 54 sauced wings and discover that THEY ARE ALL NAKED. Like not sauced at all. I look at the side sauces and there were 8 of the small take out containers and some of the flavors I ordered are missing. I am confused and incensed, but the hoard of boys were descending upon the food before I can figure out how to sauce these naked wings with the very few containers available, so I just feed them.
This is what I figured out. That "side sauce" option? That means put the sauce on the side, not two extra side sauces. And that option only 'allows' you 2 choices, not 4. However, it doesn't invalidate the order if you choose both 4 sauces and sauce on the side (only 2). A quick phone call by the person inputting the order would have been nice. Seriously, I can't imagine how that person chose the 2 out of the 4 choices I made. If I'm paying you and there is a question about my order, call me. "Hi Joy, I see that you chose 4 sauces but if you order the sauce on the side you get 2 choices, which 2 did you want?". Online ordering was faulty, and doubled down with the lack of care given by the staff.
Then, to add insult to injury, there were wings that still had feathers on them. GROSS. I forgive a stray feather here and there, but we're talking clumps.
Did I mention that it cost me $75 for naked, feathered wings?

Soooo I walked in to pick up my order and the girl working there straight up ignored me for 5 SOLID minutes. Like she didn't even acknowledge I was there. After she finally let me pay for my order she had me pay for the WRONG order then gave my order to someone else because the name was "similar". I have met 2 people with the same name as me so i don't know how that happened.

And then after ALL that, I got food poisoning.

I came to Seattle a few weeks ago for Emerald City Comic Con 2019 and to visit one of my best friends from college who lives and is from Seattle.  Now, I was born and raised in the Buffalo, NY, the birthplace of the buffalo chicken wing, and my friend has a twisted sense of humor, so as soon as I landed, he decided to take me here for dinner.  All in all, I was pretty surprised at how good everything was!

My buddy and I came here on a Thursday night around 10:30pm for a (really) late dinner.  Thankfully, the happy hour here was still going on so we both grabbed a beer and browsed the menu.  By the way, the bar tender who waited on us was great: very nice, personable, and knew when to check back with us.  He was in the mood for chicken wings (of course) while I was in the mood for a burger or sandwich.  My buddy ordered a traditional large size of wings with the Buffalo dry seasoning.  I was surprised at the size and the flavor of that dry rub, they were pretty good (but of course not as good as a real chicken wing from Buffalo  haha)!

I ended up ordering the Buffalo Ranch Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries.  Now, being from Buffalo, I was a little disappointed it came with ranch instead of blue cheese on top (I didn't know this could be substituted until afterward), but gee, this sandwich was fantastic!  The chicken was grilled to perfection as it was piping hot but still incredibly tender and juicy on the inside.  The toppings, the cheese, the medium sauce, and yes, the ranch were in perfect harmony.  The fries were cooked nicely too.  The size of the sandwich was perfect too as I ate the whole thing, no problem, but wasn't overfull.

All-in-all, I was very impressed by the food and service at this BWW.  I wouldn't be upset to come back here again for dinner and drinks!

BWW! I miss there old wings special on Tuesday. It was the bomb back then. All wings for 50% off. Now they changed there wing special for Tuesday, but it's still one of my place to go with friends and colleagues afterwork for happy hour or whatever.

I been to many locations and every BWW staffs and foods are great. Just sometimes the orders can take a little longer. Everyone loves BBW.

I usually go to the bar area, it's a little faster to your food I think. Not sure, that's what it feel like to me. After writing this review I feel like I should go to BWW soon. Craving for some wings and beer atm!
